Warm Audio Tube Squealer 3-Mode, Soft Clipping, Tube-Amp Driving Overdrive Pedal
Product Description
Tube Squealer
Three-Mode, Soft-Clipping, Tube Amp-Driving Overdrive Pedal
Faithful Recreation Of Three Screaming Overdrives With Added Rig-Ready Features
The Most Played Overdrive Of All Time
The Tube Squealer faithfully recreates not one, not two, but three of the most famous flavors of the most played overdrive pedal of all time. While there are seemingly countless revisions and tributes, the venerable original 808, TS9, and TS10 versions of the circuit have famously been used by iconic guitar players like Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Slash, John Frusciante and many more. Like all three original pedals, Tube Squealer delivers that classic amp-driving tone with all the nuance of the different circuits to support all types of playing - from edge of breakup blues, to searing metal solo boosts.
Three Legendary Circuits, All The Classic Mods
Tube Squealer has three distinct signal paths for the 808, TS9, and TS10 settings. Switching to any setting delivers the authentic version of that circuit, not a simple re-voicing. The 808 delivers the earliest version of the circuit with breakup and grit. The TS9 delivers that added drive and compressed tone that dominated the 80s and beyond. TS10 revives a previously underrated circuit known for buttery smooth tones that add that famed ‘sparkle’ to any rig. Tube Squealer adds previously celebrated mods as permanent features with the mix knob allowing for clean signal blending, and the pickup voicing switch, which changes the midrange emphasis to better suit humbuckers and lower-midrange heavy pickups.
Applications

Three Legendary Circuits Powered By Op-Amps
The WA-TS has three distinct circuit paths for the 808, TS9, and TS10 settings. All three modes share the same tone stage using the JRC4558. TS9 setting has its own drive stage using the JRC4580, While the 808 and TS10 share the same drive stage, TS10 has an extra resistor added just like the original design.
Beloved "MODS" at Your Fingertips
Boutique builders have modded this circuit style for decades. Tube Squealer adds three mods plus distinct paths for a boutique feel anywhere. The mix knob blends clean and clipping signals for precise harmonics and distortion. The pickup voicing switch shifts mids from 800Hz (original, single-coil) to 2k (humbucker) for better pairing with low-mid heavy pickups. The external voltage doubler reshapes the WA-TS gain, adding headroom and making it act more like a boost.
Premium Components For Clipping & Power
WA-TS uses premium clipping diodes to provide musical distortion across all three pedal circuits. The dual switch cap voltage doubler allows the WA-TS to deliver even higher headroom (using 9v power) without having to have the pedal modified or risk using unstable power.
Hand-tested, Elite Build Quality
Every single WA-TS overdrive is meticulously hand-inspected and tested at Warm HQ in Austin,TX by real musicians and engineers with a passion for superior sound.
